Quick answer
If your shower head is on a hose and you’re happy to replace it, the Filtered Handheld Shower has a built-in activated carbon filter and two brush attachments. If you want to keep the shower head you already have, the Inline Shower Filter fits between a standard 1/2-inch shower arm and that head.
Start with your shower
- A shower head on a flexible hose: the Filtered Handheld Shower replaces it. Check that your hose connection matches before you order.
- A shower head on a wall arm that you want to keep: the Inline Shower Filter goes between the arm and the head.

Use only a replacement cartridge confirmed for your exact model. Do not assume cartridges from other models will fit.
When the handheld fits better
When your shower has a hose, or you want more than a rinse. The Filtered Handheld Shower comes with two interchangeable brush attachments for massage and exfoliation. With no attachment fitted, its internal magnet may rattle slightly; this is normal.
When the inline filter fits better
When you like the shower head you have. The Inline Shower Filter works with fixed, rain, handheld and combo heads on a standard 1/2" arm. Ball-joint or short-elbow arms need a threaded adapter, and the extra 3–4 inches can matter near a low ceiling or a glass panel.
Questions, answered
Which replacement filter should I use?
Use only a replacement cartridge confirmed for your exact model. Do not assume cartridges from other models will fit.
Can I drink water from a shower filter?
No. A shower filter is for shower water, not a substitute for a drinking-water filter.
Does either one soften water?
The Inline Shower Filter isn’t a water softener and doesn’t remove hardness minerals.
